Alcohol Related Vitamin Deficiency
Consumption of alcohol has been part of society since it's discovery. One consequence of heavy drinking is the body's inability to absorb vital nutrients. This problem can affect the liver, blood, brain and various other bodily organs as long as, and perhaps beyond, the periods during which heavy amounts of alcohol are consumed. Our project aims to develop a dietary supplement to counteract these alcohol related deficiencies. Those who abuse alcohol could benefit from such a supplement to improve overall well-being, especially to people already committed to pursuing a healthier lifestyle through recovery.
